With over 21 years of experience, we offer some of the best quality custom replacement windows available, installed by journeyman craftsmen. We are confident that we offer the best value for your window replacement dollar.

The biggest difference between Twin City Window and our competitors is in how we market ourselves to our customers. Rather than spending tens of thousands of dollars to be seen in every phone book and have a booth at every home show, our sales come mostly from the internet and word of mouth from customers. Our costs are therefore much lower and so our prices are too. Shop all you want, we encourage you to do so, because it will help you to see the value in what we offer. We are a Minneapolis, Minnesota company specializing in replacing residential windows.

Lindsay windows qualify for the Federal Tax Credit of up to $1500.00

On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed a stimulus bill (The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) that made some significant changes to the energy efficiency tax credits. The highlights are:

  • The tax credits that were previously effective for 2009, have been extended to 2010 as well.
  • The tax credit has been raised from 10% to 30%.
  • The tax credits that were for a specific dollar amount (ex $300 for a CAC), have been converted to 30% of the cost.
  • The maximum credit has been raised from $500 to $1500 for the two years (2009–2010). However, some improvements such as geothermal heat pumps, solar water heaters, and solar panels are not subject to the $1,500 maximum.
  • The $200 cap on windows has been removed.

We Provide Professional Window Installation

There are basically 2 different types of installation. Inserts and full frame. An insert installation is the most common type of installation in the replacement window business. That is the only way most companies will replace windows.

How Our Process Works

We encourage you to browse around our site and learn what some of your options are. The nest step is for you to contact us either by email or phone and set an appointment to meet with one of our representatives.

He/ she will come to your home to further explain the options, answer questions, and make certain you are ordering exactly what you want. This eliminates the misunderstandings that can be common in the remodeling business.

In the next step, you will be contacted by our measure man.

He is a journeyman window installer with years of knowledge and experience. This is probably the most important step. He will measure for your new windows and review the job and the contract with you as a final double check. Then your custom windows are ordered and built.
